When you click "mnuConnect" this is what needs to happen.

You need to define all the shit in your config (i.e. txtUsername.Text, txtPassword.Text) as strings.

For example:

Dim strUsername As String

'strUsername = frmOne.txtUsername.Text
'Or
strUsername = Config("Battle.Net", "Username")  [This is recommended mainly, because it reads it from the config file that is set (meaning once it's saved)]

Do all the rest of the coding with the rest of the coding for "frmOne" and it's Text Boxes, etc.

CSB.UseUDP = True (For NOT getting the plug)
CSB.BNLSBotID = "YourBNLSUsername"
CSB.BNLSBotPassword = "YourBNLSPassword"
CSB.CDKey = strCDKey
CSB.Product = strProduct
CSB.Realm = strRealmName
CSB.HomeChannel = strHome
CSB.Password = strPassword
CSB.Username = strUsername
CSB.ChangePassword = False
CSB.Server = strServer
CSB.Accept = 579728 (This is the Accept code BNLS uses now for CSB)
CSB.Connect

If you need more help with CSB, just read the documentation...I read it a long time ago, and understood it perfectly.

He was a child molestor

EDIT: Actually he had some child porn on his comp or something like that (it's a little fuzzy), child molestor just seemed like the best generalization.

R.I.P. Cuphead. Big Bubba raped his brains out. :'(

EDIT -- On-topic, uh, if you understood the CSB documentation perfectly this should not be a problem.

Posession of loads and loads of (male) child pornography. He also was accused of hacking or something like that into federal (are library computers considered federal?) computers.

He is currently somebodys wife. Maybe mine.

People should really not speculate about things.  He never posted anything about how anything ended up; we just know his forum is gone.

Because nobody really has the full story.

Examples:

- "Cuppy went to jail for child pornography"
- "Cuphead was hacking his library's computers"
- "He died in a plane crash on his way to preach the gospel to the heathens"
- "Cuppy isn't dead!"

Full Story v1.0:

Cuphead is....

From what I remember, (this is factual) he found a vulnerability at his local free library when he installed an ActiveX control onto one of their computers, and, being the good somaritan he is, told the librarian.  The library pressed charges, and (this part may or may not have happened) his computer got confiscated, where supposedly there was child porn.

We can not be certain as to where cuphead is. I, for one, doubt that he has much academic knowledge!

Why is that? Is it because he was programming in VB?

lol. if it is true that the library pressed charges.. what would he be charged with?

downloading something or installing something on a computer without permission? i suppose thats reasonable to press charges.

but did the library actually fix the vulnerability (if any)?

if they did, then i dont see why they would press charges. which means the vulnerability is still there (if there ever was one) purely speculation but...

anyways.
if there is a vulnerability and the library has too much pride to listen to someone else who might be right,  and if i was cuphead and had charges pressed on me, i would see to it that damage occurred somewhere along the line, possibly by posting the exploit public and allowing kids to mess up the libraries computer.. or something to that nature.  not that im a revengefull person, but if you are in prison because you tried to help someone.. shit i  might have to do a morals check and do some dirty deeds.

i just  was reading this thread and thought i would comment. no offense to anyone!

Causing more trouble will not do anyone any good.  Of course, if any lesson at all is to be learned from this, it's that IT personnel don't like learning that their systems were not completely secure.  We've seen other examples of this over time, such as in the case of Gray Lady vs. Homeless Hacker.

Finding vulnerabilities is trouble.  Reporting them is even more trouble.  Don't go looking for trouble - you might find it.

Best thing to do is allow the vulnerability to be exploited to a point where they must fix it.  :)
