AuthorMessageTime
Skywing
MSNMessenger.dll tells status about known people (read: people I register with it and who add it to their allow list) to any HTTP browser querying it. For instance, you can view my MSN status with http://www.valhallalegends.com/skywing/isapi/MSNMessenger.dll?statusimage?user=Skywing (as image: ).

If any members would like me to setup an email address of theirs with it, let me know. Because the DLL uses an arbitrarily assigned name associated with a particular email address in status requests, there's no need to give out your MSN email to unknown people just to allow them to tell if you're online or not.

If your letting any forum member do it, I'd like to have it, lemme know what information you'll need and I'd like to do it, Unless this just applies to [vL] members then null this subject.

Basically all he needs is your msn address and he has the msn bot add you to contacts list *you humbly click Add or allow... accept, whatever* and then he just tells you your name and then it you just call that in as an image ie:

Now surely you can understand he cant allow everyone to do this, nor does he have the time so perhaps if you ask him politely he will be so kind to do so

Who's gonna be stupid enough to tell other users their email without knowing them?

A better question is -- what good is it to know someone has their MSN Messenger ONLINE if you're not on their contact list? You usually cannot chat with them because most people block messages from people not on their list. Just knowing they are online may not be valuable.

Grok, we've known skywing for how long and you haven't figured out that skywings strokes of genious are inspired by absolute lazyness? He doesn't want to open his contacts list to see if someones online, he was to be able to knock two birds down with one stone, browse the forum and check out whos on msn! Besides more so it doesn't give your passport address out so the people whom it concerns can enjoy the feature and of course the ones who is doesn't be left in disarray. But although some might say skywing did this as a project to test out and give a purpose to his MSN client/bot but also I'm pritty sure its just a larger part of his plan to lure in new stalkers. Now they can see skywings MSN status and still be left wonder what his address is hehe ;)
