HAHA!
Screw you illegal immigrants.
I bet Richardson is doing this to keep the illegal immigrants down so there is a better image of our area (for the XPrize launch pad thing which is like a 40 minutes drive from my house)

When I was 10 or 11 I payed people like 10 cents (maybe it was a dollar?) to clean my room each week. Two of my friends that lived down the street that were older than me were the people. They also got a free snack and got to choose the video game we played.

They were not illegal immigrants.

Anyway, they need to do something about the immigration problem badly. My grandparents, when they were asked if they wanted to donate money again to the Republican party said that they aren't going to, and my consider voting independent unless Bush starts to do something about the immigration problem. Some friends of theirs who my grandma used to work with (well, she worked with the wife) live (or recently moved from, not sure) outside of San Diego. The lady works(ed?) in the education there and the husband is a Commander in the Navy. She did nursing, and she said everyday a schoolbus goes to the Mexican border and picks up the kids. The kids are supposed to be only American Citizens (like, their parents were MExican, snuck into the US and had their kid so their kid gets benefits) but they don't regulate it so Mexicans just get on it. The kids don't speak English or anything. I'm incredibly against us conforming to their language, they need to learn English or leave. It's a sad day when, IN AMERICA, at theme parks or wherever, the directions are read in Spanish before English. That's what is going on in Florida now according to my grandma, in fact, this lady she knows is spanish (or mexican, or something) and her neighberhood used to be like an upper-middle or middle or something class white neighborhood, now it's 99% hispanic.

I really don't see what's wrong with having signs/directions in Spanish before English when there is an incredibly large Spanish influence in Southern states, especially California, New Mexico, etc.  There's also nothing wrong with added diversity in my opinion to this country, considering basically everyone in this country came from different cultures, whether born in America or not.  You're also not being asked to conform to their language, and it's not like we are now anyways, but I don't see what's wrong with people who are willing to conform to their language and with having a large amount of Spanish in those areas when a large amount of people down there are of Spanish speaking cultures.

The problem is, instead of spending the money to enforce the laws they spent them making new signs that include spanish. It'd be great if they all entered legally but get realistic, very few of them did. The other huge problem is the number of violent people illegally entering the US. There are known violent gangs like MS13 crossing the Mexican border into the US.

You must work in a classly town if all the illegal immigrants work in the back at McDonalds Trust. Before the McDonalds here closed it was likely they would talk in Spanish when taking your order and such first before they talked in there limited English.

For whoever claimed they provide cheap labor, thats a rather large lie. Around here you can find plently of Mexican labor but its neither cheap nor decent. Most likely it will be some piss poor half ass job. I'm also doubtful that big corporations are intentionally hiring illegal immigrants. They have a lot to lose if they get busted and very little to gain.

These jobs could be going to our homeless people instead of illegal immigrants. Some may not want a job or accept it but I'm willing to bet that a lot would jump at the chance to have a job.

Because this is our country, they don't have English signs period in a lot of their country (S. America for instance). If they want to live here they should speak our language. I don't care if there is diversity, but they need to be able to communicate with us. It's wrong when, in America now, you can go shopping and the cashier or something can't even speak English.

Um, I fail to see how America 'belongs' to illegal immigrants. I'm sure you have no clue what I'm talking about, since it's kind of hard for Mexicans to sneak into Sweden at a rate of 1200+ a day (of which only ~300 get caught) amassing to over 11 million undocumented immigrants. Are there even 11 million people IN Sweden?

Most everyone in this country is an illegal immigrant or descended from one.  Before it was America we were invaders, and it only became ours because we shot and killed so many of the rightful residents.  During the 1700s and 1800s, after we were "legitimate", tens of millions of Irish, Polish, German, Italian, and others were each at one point or another called names for coming to America and "taking our jobs" and "barely speaking English".  They were ruining it for the genuine Americans.

We've heard all these bigoted small-minded provincial arguments before.  You can wrap them in whatever package you wish, but America is greatest when people can immigrate here and TAKE ADVANTAGE of the system that is in place.  You get pissed when the cashier at the burger joint cannot understand you, but yet you won't take the job yourself.  You don't like all the migrant farm workers because they're illegally working, but do you gather up your friends and go pick potatoes for $15/day to take their jobs?  I didn't think so.

I don't have a Mexican problem locally, I've said that. There's only 200-250,000 illegals in Virginia, and most of them are up north. There are a good number where I am now too, which is in the middleish part of the state. Where I am the burger people are generally English (or ebonic) speaking. However, at many Mexican restraunts conversation with the staff can be a challenge.

Anyway, your argument is stupid. Our ancestors weren't illegals, there was no immigration law established when we came over and took the indians (and, by the way, my great great grandma (I think that's it) was full Cherokee) land. I'm fairly certain when my ancestors came here from England and Ireland, they weren't running across a border (did you see that clip this morning?) or in any way trying to avoid border patrol.

Let me make it clear, I have no problem with people immigrating here, it's how America got so big. However, if they're going to immigrate here, they need to do it LEGALLY. Go through the natrualization process, learn our culture and language, and become Americans. I think that, from now on, since you support us learning their language and conforming to them so much that you should post all of your future posts in Spanish (w/o the use of a translator.) I don't care if you speak it or not, but do that from now on please.

I am part white myself. I'm pretty sure my great great great grandma was Dutch or something but I can't really prove it. Anyways, there were a lot of illegal immigrants coming from Europe. And you cannot prove there was "no immigration law established." Typically, if you are at war with someone that means you don't want them on your land.

If you look at the early immigration periods many europeans coming to america did not speak english. It was a huge barrier, yet you have nothing to say about them.

I think that, from now on, since you support us learning their language and conforming to them so much that you should post all of your future posts in Spanish (w/o the use of a translator.) I don't care if you speak it or not, but do that from now on please.

Your thought process is inane and narrow.
