Yegg | I'm looking for a new, cheap, decent harddrive to buy for my server pc. Note: My server pc is nothing too extreme, so it doesn't need the best there is. After looking around on newegg.com, I found an 80gb harddrive from Western Digital. From the reviews it is a very good harddrive and it only costs $52.00. My main question is, when getting a harddrive, is there something that it must be compatible with that is already in my computer before it is able to function? Any help is appreciated. | August 11, 2005, 1:20 AM |
Lenny | Not sure what HD you're looking at, but with the magic of rebates you could get a 160GB HD for $40. http://www.compusa.com/products/product_info.asp?ref=cj&product_code=304907&pfp=external&tabtype=rb | August 11, 2005, 3:00 AM |
Topaz | I have a western digital 70gig hard drive laying around that I don't use. It's about 2 years old, but it runs pretty quiet. Do you want it? 35$. | August 11, 2005, 3:17 AM |
hismajesty | Or he could spend $4.99 more and get a brand new 160gb drive? | August 11, 2005, 3:24 AM |

Yegg | I don't have a working printer to print out the mail-in ebate forms, so I may end up getting to 80Gb HD. If anyone would like to know more about it, here is the link: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16822135106 | August 12, 2005, 2:04 AM |

Lenny | Kinko's is my favourite copy place cause it's open 24 hours, like if it's three in the morning, and I suddenly decide I need two of something, I'm covered. | August 13, 2005, 1:20 AM |
