Schedule (and my picks):

09/05 Miami W
09/10 The Citadel W
09/17 at BC L - Upset pick!
10/01 Syracuse  W
10/08 W Forest  W
10/15 at Virginia  L
10/22 at Duke W
10/29 Maryland W
11/05 NC State  W
11/12 at Clemson W
11/26 at Florida W

Thoughts:  New QB will prevent talented FSU program from going all the way.  Either that or he could blow up and lead them to the MNC, who knows.

Blurb: The question marks for me as far as the early game with Miami and with the tougher teams like Virginia arise because of a number of factors. Freshman QB is an issue, in my opinion. Loosing an All-American CB certainly help the defense. Generally, I'm worried about FSU's motivation, but if they can pull of a win in Week 1, all that could change.

Predicting Miami loss is rather hard to justify, since there is a counter-argument for everything.  I could say an already good Miami defense is returning 9 starters to face our freshman QB who has yet to complete a pass other than in his mind while watching Miami film.  But you could say FSU defensive is looking large for Miami's freshman QB in the same situation.  FSU running game should be incredible this year, but so should Miami's!

Special teams are heavily in Miami's favor, and I think that will decide the game, as it has for 4 of the last 6 losses.

Picking Florida to win is easy.  The game is at The Swamp and they have more talent than FSU, more experience at QB, and true greatness in Leak.  He's going to have a fun year and swamping FSU's run for the title (at 9-1) will be a joy for Leak in his second-straight win over the Noles.

DM: Do you go to the games with the team? I might be going to the 10/15 game.

Another intense game, but incredibly sloppy by both offenses.  Streaks of all kinds were ended, 6-wins, 10 straight wins by Miami in games decided by 10 points or less, and so on.  The biggest difference I saw was special teams.  Miami's Hester just seemed to never recover from his early drop and was an advantage for FSU from then on.  The new holder and kicker for Miami was the difference in the ball game, giving Miami a taste of how it feels to lose this game by the kicker.

I figured UVA would be a trap game for FSU, and I was right.  Tough break Seminoles...

Oh well we backed into the ACC Championship.  Boston College lost leaving FSU as the only 2-loss (omg) team in our division.  I'm highly confident we will finish this season with at least 3 losses, probably 4, and get to beat up on some West Virginia team in some Dec 30 bowl game.

Not real disappointed though.  While I expected the ACC championship game, I figured we would lose.  So the season is working out about right.  The win over Miami was sweet and now we get to play them again.  Never have two teams played so often in 4 years as FSU-Miami.

I watched the majority of it, up until I had to go into The Swamp for the Gator game, we had a TV and Satellite at the Tailgate Party.

Suckiest coaching at FSU ever.  Zero offensive touchdowns.  No inspiration from the players.  Bad bad coaching.

Today FSU looked like Larry Coker's Hurricane's usually look, uninspired and uninterested in playing... doesn't make any sense.
