kamakazie | Space shuttle Discovery lifts-off today @ 3:51 EDT after a 2 year hiatus. I remember watching NASA TV in the early morning hours and saw the shuttle actually stop in its place on the little display they had up when Columbia disintegrated. Just listening to the flight director keep asking the Columbia crew if they could hear him was so agonizing, then the bad news start to pour in. If you don't have NASA TV on your cable, you can stream it over the internet (www.nasa.gov has links). Anyone else plan on watching the launch? | July 13, 2005, 4:48 PM |
Topaz | Wasn't there a glitch in the system? I remember hearing last night that maintenance was all over it and such. | July 13, 2005, 4:53 PM |
