shadypalm88 | BNCSutil 1.0.4 is now available for all supported platforms, including Mac OS X again. In addition to fixing Mac WarCraft III CD-key decoding, this release fixes two non-critical bugs: Bug #6: checkRevision() is not completely thread-safe. Bug #8: WarCraft III key decoding prints debugging information to stdout. Bug #6 applies to the parsing of the formula string; it used the function strtok(), which is not thread-safe. Bots that support multiple connections connecting simultaneously, or that otherwise use strtok() in another thread should update soon. Everyone else can probably wait until your next normal release. | July 10, 2005, 5:22 AM |
BaDDBLooD | Wasn't there a recent conflict about advertising stuff on here? | July 10, 2005, 11:04 AM |
Quarantine | It's something that better the development of bots, like BNLS. I don't think he should get in trouble for notifying the general body of BotDevelopers of something he has done for them. If he was advertising his bot then I'd see your point. Good job Cloaked. | July 10, 2005, 12:11 PM |
iago | Yes, I have no problem with him posting about the release of a useful utility. | July 10, 2005, 2:45 PM |
Networks | I commend him for even notifying us. | July 10, 2005, 3:17 PM |
Archangel | Its different advertising a bot, than a Library that can be used for development. [Edit: Good Job! :)] | July 10, 2005, 8:48 PM |
QwertyMonster | Good job shadypalm :) Glad you are keeping us updated :D | July 10, 2005, 9:04 PM |
Scope | Yea, I was the "guinea pig" for this DLL library. I am using it for the bot I took over from Cloaked, (Myriad). It hasn't failed yet. | July 13, 2005, 3:43 PM |
NetNX | Yes Eric, thanks for keeping us updated! <3 BNCSUtil :) | July 14, 2005, 10:22 AM |
