It looks like you viewed some site in Internet Explorer, viewed the files rs-232.c and rs-232.h and then used IE's File -> Save As.... to download them (that way it saves it with a "[1]" or "[2]", etc.). 2. It looks like you copied and pasted some sample code from that site and added on your own the 2 lines: #include<rs-232[2].h> #include<rs-232[2].c> 3.
