NicoQwertyu | Just installed "CompuWare 3.1 DriverStudio" today. I tried running Softice, however, Windows locks up after it runs. I can hit Ctrl+D and move around in Softice (mouse and all), but that's it. If I close the Softice window with g, or X, everything is still locked up. Does anyone else have some experience with getting these two to play nicely together or am I doomed? | June 18, 2005, 2:03 AM |
KkBlazekK | Did you install the winxp patch? ::) | June 18, 2005, 2:10 AM |
NicoQwertyu | I shouldn't need a patch. This version is suppost to support Windows XP without a problem. | June 18, 2005, 2:57 AM |
EpicOfTimeWasted | Let me guess, you have XP SP2 installed? | June 18, 2005, 3:31 AM |
NicoQwertyu | Naturally. 50% of the other programs I run don't work if it's not installed. | June 18, 2005, 3:44 AM |
EpicOfTimeWasted | I seem to recall DriverStudio v3.1 not liking SP2. There used to be a patch on Compuware's site, but hell if I can find it any more. | June 18, 2005, 4:15 AM |
NicoQwertyu | I've tried earlier versions of driverstudio (3.0) also, but do no avail. | June 18, 2005, 4:16 AM |
