Personally, I have a flight of stairs that have been recently installed by Fiesta Cat Inc. Quite a good contractor.

I have 2 flights of stairs.  They're both fairly short, though, since our second floor/basement are on one half, and there's a middle floor on the other half.

Define stairs? My house is in a flood zone in Tampa, FL so its built up, but I don't consider them flights of stairs.

Stairs are:
  1. A series or flight of steps; a staircase. Often used in the plural.
  2. One of a flight of steps.
And, according to his question, he wants to know if you have stairs in your house.

The question does indeed stem from that song.

However, the question bears no link to the song in its meaning or purpose. It is independent of the song now, and is the reason why I get a little annoyed when people respond with "Pak Chooie Unf" thinking it is the correct response. It is not.

On a side note, I do prefer this version of the song over the original.

I have a single flight of stairs in my house. However, I live in the refridgerator box mansion in my parents back yard, with six flights of stairs. That thing is awesome.

Unless you guys with two flights have basements, then you still make me sick since no homes here have them due to flooding  and stuff!

The house my mom just moved out of had 3 flights of stairs. "Too much cleaning" she says.
