I do like the odd cigar now and again. I found that the smaller, thinner ones are stronger than some of the bigger ones.

I have 1 friend who is in so deep he pays for his apartment & w/e other bills buy selling.  He is a sophmore in college that just got kicked out.
I have another friend who lives with the first one that smokes multiple times daily (cigarettes & pot).  He is a freshman in college that is failing out.
I have yet another friend who visits the above 2 friends & smokes cigarettes/pot daily aswell.  He is a junior in highschool that is not doing as well as he used to.

The 2nd two friends had it way good before getting into this.  Both friends' parents had worked & given them nice lives, the 1st friend not as much but he still had hope to become something other than a dealer.

& now I have a 4th friend who is getting into all of it for reasons that I do not know.

I wont let it turn to habit but my life is so stresdfull recentley I needed something.
I told my mum yesterday while I was slightley drunk that I had smoked pot, and she was like "Ok, do you smoke regularley", So I said no and she was cool, I thought shed go nuts.

Meh, if you have stress, why not get a stress ball, or even better a punch bag. Ever feeling stress just punch the punch bag, or really squeeze the stress ball. I've never had bad stress, so i dont know if it could help.

I meant smoking cigarettes more so.  Weed, people give up (hopefully) when they grow up/mature (people who don't are "losers").  But once addicted to cigarettes, that isn't something that goes away.

It's hard to believe that those can be the same thing, but who knows?  I can bit my nails anywhere, without thinking, and people don't give me dirty looks.  And I've been doing it since longer than I can remember, at least smokers (hopefully) remember starting.

I never denied that it was easy to quit smoking.  I've seen enough smokers to know that it's not, that's why I tell people like Meh to stop before it becomes a big problem.

Never smoked, because that was one of the reasons my father died an early death, and I don't want the same to happen to me.

People who smoke ususally don't get much respect (whether it be from co-workers/friends/aquantances), but smoking is a really hard habit not only to have, but to quit.

My father tried to quit, and was getting really good at stopping (downed from a pack every 2 days to a pack for a week and a half).

There is no better time than the present to quit, but without the drive (for example, your family telling you to quit every day), you will not get far.

So it all comes down to "Do You Want to Quit?".

But, since I have never smoked, I can only speculate on how hard it is to quit.

I used to smoke pot daily, sometimes multiple times a day, quit twice for 2 months and now I'll get high every few weeks because it doesn't cause a problem.

I've never smoked before, but in the past week I've considered smoking a few cigarrettes just to get an understanding, I don't have the money to support something like that anyways.

I was chewing tobacco a few months ago, but that ran out in a few days. My friend just recently came back from the states with a full tin, we've been happily munching that but the effects are now lost and the taste is a little strong, so I'm done with that.

I say there is nothing wrong with most of these habbits, as long as it is in moderation, wherein the problem lies as iago said.

Respect isnt an issue, Im sure youve seen my pic.. Ive tried many times to quit. I should.. The best way i found out is just stop buying them.. but goddam its hard. I may try that again i got 2 packs left in my carton.. Wish me luck!
