I need cold hard facts, and references that show that Canada is Socialist.  I need to own somone in a test of wit, hurry. links pls, or references.

Canada isn't really true socalist, look more at sweden or the netherlands for that.

England isn't technically socialist either, but they still lean that way.

We could say plenty of countries have some socialist tendancies.

Including the United States in some respects.  Technically speaking, public education is socialist.

I very much hope they privitize social security.

Depending upon HOW they plan to privatise SS, I might be fine with it.  Anyone know HOW it is planned to be restructured?

There were plenty of different plans mentioned. One was just a simple trust fund type of deal, the other was the government investing the money. I think that the government should not invest the money because the government has traditionally been a very bad investor. I think a bank account with some money going into bonds and mutual funds at the owner's (well person who will get the money) request is one possible good solution.
