tA-Kane | i got a new printer for xmas, and only got around to setting it up this morning... is there any way to stop the printer driver from saying "printing started" and "printing finished" when such an even occurs? it's really quite annoying! | December 31, 2004, 6:39 PM |
iago | There should be a "mute" button on your keyboard or speakers or control panel. Just turn that on -- unless you're expecting sounds, they're annoying anyway. But if you want a specific answer, it might help to know the platform (os), software, and hardware (printer).. | December 31, 2004, 8:57 PM |
Stealth | It sounds like Lexmark software I've seen before. There's no option in the software settings panel to turn that notification off? | December 31, 2004, 11:06 PM |

[/quote] I can think of three ways of the top of my head, First: Unplug it. Second: Throw it off a cliff. Three: Open the printer up and look for the speaker, remove it. | January 1, 2005, 5:54 AM |
